De host was heel attent, reageerde meteen op de berichten en hielp bij alles wat nodig was. We hadden de fietsen bij ons, maar s’avonds zijn we met de bus naar het centrum gegaan. De bus stopt voor de deur en je kunt gewoon met je pinpas betalen.

I stayed alone in this lovely house for 7 nights, and from the moment I stepped in, it felt like an instant vacation escape. The location is perfect — right at the tram and bus stop, super convenient and safe for coming and going. The back garden has a large terrace (too cold to sit outside in winter, but just having it there adds charm). Lying on the bed or sofa and looking out the window is pure beauty. The bed is incredibly comfortable, the bedding is soft and thoughtful, and the bathroom is huge (almost echoey!). Everything you need is provided — you can clearly feel how much care and thought the host put into it. My favorite spot was the window sofa, watching the lively street scene all day long. During the day with curtains open, or at night with the table lamp on, sipping coffee and feeling real life happening just a window away. Belgian drivers seem impatient (long honks are common), and some cars blast loud bass music even near midnight, but you can soon find peace again once you go back to the bedroom. No matter whether it’s sunny or rainy, the constant flow of people outside is like living in a moving painting. Highly recommended. This place gave me a true sense of being “home” while traveling solo in Antwerp.
