Médina Charme Riad and Spa

The staff were really what made our stay so fantastic and why we would consider staying there again. They were absolutely amazing and did their utmost to help us throughout our stay, no question was too big and it was lovely to feel so welcomed by them. The pool absolutely saved us with the day temperatures being in the 40s and the amazing staff ensured our room was kept immaculate and had everything we needed.

Sadly the owner was not nearly as hospitable or as friendly as the staff on the sole occasion we saw him, and it was so disappointing to see him be disrespectful towards his wonderful staff who work so hard. The riad was relatively easy to find - but we did do an enormous amount of google map research before we went. (It would be good if the Riad sent a map and some photos of the route to take and the best drop off and pickup spot for taxis for future guests.) The staff did their best but the breakfast was mainly pastries with jam, until we requested some fruit and were able to enjoy some of the delicious local produce! Finally, totally out of the staff and owners control - the building next to us was still completing renovations- so every day at 9am the workers were banging on the wall right next to ours. Luckily we aren’t night owls but for anyone who is it wasn’t a sound anyone could sleep through!
