The host had provided me with all the details that were required for checkout. Checkout was smooth and easy. The host even gave us a complimentary Wine, it was sweet and a great gesture.
The lock on the lower-level washroom was broken, which made it inconvenient for all the guests to use the upper-level washrooms.
As the house is located on a corner, there should ideally be a fence or motion-sensing lights, as there was no protection against wildlife such as bears. We actually heard a growling noise outside, and all we had for safety was a bear horn. Having proper lighting and fencing around the property would have made us feel much safer.
Additionally, the fireplace was not working. According to the host, the remote had been damaged by a previous guest. As a result, we were unable to enjoy either the indoor fireplace or the outdoor firepit, especially since the outdoor area couldn’t be used safely due to the growling noises nearby.
