Pousada Canto Verde Alter do Chão

The pousada was beautiful, amazing design with lush vegetation - felt like we were staying right in the middle of the Amazon rainforest. Being able to say hello to the Guaribas from our room was very cool! The room was very comfortable and clean with everything you could need including wifi and a tv that was perfectly placed for watching in bed! We definitely recommend and would come back. Thank you to Mari who was a lovely host, very accommodating and helpful.

Eu amei a pousada! Sempre vou pra Alter do Chão e já fiquei em várias, mas essa ganhou meu coração! O jardim é maravilhoso, vem vários tipos de bichos e macacos, fiquei encantada!!! A localização é a melhor possível! Você está perto de tudo, mercadinho, restaurante, mas ao mesmo tempo não tem barulho nenhum a não ser da natureza! Tudo muito novo e cheiroso, decoração linda, só vou focar aqui agora!

The pousada is just 8-minutes walk away from the center of town but feels like its own oasis. There are a total of four cabins, each with a basic kitchen which is great for making simple food. There's also a larger commual kitchen, which we didn't use. We loved the lushness of the trees in the pousada and I really enjoyed stretching in the tree house among the tree canopy. I even saw a monkey among the trees during our stay. I can imagine the pousada being a great place for couples, families or a group of friends since the standalone cabine provide privacy while the shared communal kitchen and pool provides areas to gather together.

Localização incrível, no meio da vila a ao mesmo tempo totalmente privado. Mari me atendeu muito bem, indicou passeios e mesmo sem ser sua obrigação, providenciou o transfer. Visita de 3 tipos de macacos todos os dias. Maravilhoso. Voltarei com certeza, super indico.
