Terrific location for seeing the classic tourist spots in Paris. We were there on Bastille Day, and just stepped out the door to Place de l'Alma to watch the fireworks at the Eiffel Tower, and few blocks the other direction to watch the parade. The metro station in the plaza was perfect for getting to sites a little further away. The apartment itself was beautiful and felt very "Parisian" with the high ceilings and crystal chandelier. The AC worked really well, which we appreciated during the July heatwave.
The nearby restaurants are definitely geared towards tourists -- the food was OK, but not anything special. Our "concierge" helped us find some restaurants that were better. And beware the street noise! The Bastille Day crowds were huge and and stayed out late -- part of the fun, but maybe not everyone's thing.

Amazing location. Apartment building
AC was advertised but was not working. It got quite uncomfortable in the night. They charged $209 for checking in one hour early. We were on a hot Paris street with 8 bags and didn't really have much of a choice. Toiletries and towels were not of the best quality and were meager.
