Sea Salt Two Burgess Beach

Exceptional communication - Sea Salt Two exceeded our expectations - great value for money - the unit was clean and perfect for our visit to Forster for the Big Heart Hike. So many extra little inclusions that really made our stay even more comfortable. Parking on street was no problem, tenants above were quiet and respectful. We would highly recommend Bree and Sea Salt Two for a great value for money stay in Forster.

It was very clean, neat and tidy, was perfect for our needs.

You could hear everything upstairs and wasn't good when it stared at 5am on the Saturday morning... definitely needs insulating between the ceiling and the floor above to minimise the sound.

1st time in a B &B , so wasn't sure what to expect really, Yes very Clean , was Nice , not far from Burgess Beach though we really only went to that beach once ,not really as i would call a good swimming beach , yes overall lovely place , Do have to park on the street. So i was just hoping the area was ok . We stayed in the bottom unit and the pictures probably don't show quite well on the Ad - its steep , very steep, down to the unit , so just keep in mind if you have a lot of bags or find it hard to walk. loved the Bed- probably the best Bed I've laid on for a long time. Seems like a nice area , so overall good. Host was fantastic as we had a few problems with noise , not much she could do , other than send them a message to quite down, though she was always there to answer any questions. Very Clean and tidy , rooms where great , and wasn't tiny .

Noise from top unit the 1st night was more than ridiculous, I've never stayed in such a noise traveling , bad Acoustics , shocking sound proofing unit in my life . I think i was lucky to get hour sleep all night , we could hear pretty well everything they where saying upstairs , (at one stage money that someone owed them and how they where trying to get it back ,for good few hours !!!) the older kids where stomping ( well that's what it sounded like ) than the person above us was snoring all night ! I could hear every breath! , so yes was very frustrated the next day !!! Lucky for us, they left ! and we where lucky enough to get a great family from Brisbane down for a few days , who we meet and had a beer with that Afternoon , once they knew how bad the sound proofing was , they where great and we actually had a good sleep , So i suppose the units all depend on whos upstairs if you have a great stay or not . I would love to thank the people above us for our last two nights -they where wonderful keeping the kids quite , ( As we with ours) . It seems the above floor has Timber floor with no insulation between the floors so as you can expect yes it can be noisy . Only other thing is, yes it is steep going from the road way to the unit so just keep this in mind. Look- i maybe could of given a 7 , though as my 1st B &B the 1st night really put a bad taste in my mouth and made us bit on edge hoping the same wouldn't happen the next few nights. And we where always up the kids to be extra quite as to not annoy upstairs -We Probably wouldn't do a B&B again , but that's us , I know a lot do like it. For the same price id just stay in a motel or Cabin where we have had a good run and the kids can have a bit more freedom.
