A spacious and stylishly decorated apartment, very clean and generally well appointed. It has a great shower and kitchen facilities, and the bedroom is lovely. It's in a great location just a few minutes walk to the gorgeous beach. The village has all the amenities you could want: pubs, several fish and chip shops, Indian and Chinese restaurants, a couple of bistros, a chemist and a Co-op, Spar and Tesco's.

The apartment is, as per the description, at the front of the building so there is a little traffic noise but this tailed off from 11pm, even on a Saturday night in August. There are several flights of stairs and no lift to help you get your bags up and down. There are only 3 parking spaces and there are 4 apartments. I found free on street parking easily, very close by, when I wasn't able to get into the little car park at the back of the building. All of these things are clearly mentioned in the listing so this is not a complaint. I only mention them for other people's information.

I was so grateful that the level of thought to the details was so high: I’m talking kitchen roll, extension lead, make up mirror, ring light (!), foil - all small things but they add up to a huge difference in comfort and ease.

My only quibble was it would have been helpful to have a map showing the footpath down to the beach. It’s a really long trek up Bay View Road…. Oh, and a hint as to pulling the cord for the shower.
