Meropi Secret Retreat House

We absolutely loved our stay. The house has such a warm, peaceful, and cozy atmosphere that made us feel relaxed from the moment we arrived. We slept incredibly well because the area is so quiet and safe. The house had everything we needed: a comfortable bed, clean bedding and towels, air conditioning, drinking water, and a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary utensils. There was also a Smart TV, and although we didn’t use it because Greece is too beautiful to spend time watching TV, it was available and worked perfectly. The courtyard is stunning, full of beautiful flowers and even a vegetable garden. The host kindly told us we were welcome to admire the garden and even enjoy some of the fresh produce. You can really feel how much care and love has gone into this place.

I stayed here on my own and had a good experience. The house was clean, quiet, and well maintained. The private garden and courtyard are pleasant places to spend time outdoors. There is also a separate vegetable garden that guests can visit. The owner regularly tends to the plants, which adds to the natural atmosphere of the property. The outdoor decoration with many Flowers was very well done. The mattress was comfortable, and I slept well during my stay. Air Condition worked Perfect. The property has a good bus connection to Rethymno and is well suited for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing stay close to nature.

Dimitris, the owner, was waiting for us and was very welcoming and friendly. He showed us around the house and gave us a lot of information about the area. He had also stocked the fridge with water and gave us a welcome treat consisting of olives, cheese, honey, and the traditional drink raki. Great garden with a hot tub, fabulous, good-sized apartment with plenty of kitchen equipment. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot, and the washing machine was a bonus.
