    My stay at the Congress Hotel in Baku City was absolutely fantastic! The hotel is relatively new and it really shows – everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The staff truly made a difference; they were incredibly friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. It's clear the owner is dedicated to providing top-notch service to every guest. I was also very pleased to find that parking was readily available, which is a huge plus in Baku. The hotel's location is amazing, especially being so close to the iconic Heydar Aliyev Center. This made exploring the city incredibly convenient.

    The hotel looks new and has a modern business-family style, but it still feels unfinished as they are gradually doing renovations. The air conditioning didn’t work the whole night, even after changing rooms — same issue, nothing could be done. The breakfast was extremely basic and honestly not worth more than 2/10. Offering à la carte breakfast would be a better option. The worst part was that after all the inconvenience I faced and having to wait and suffer with the AC issue, the receptionist called me exactly at 12:00 noon just to remind me it was time to check out — without any apology or courtesy. Honestly, I don’t think the hotel is ready to welcome guests yet. On a positive note, the night shift staff was kind and helpful, though I don’t remember his name. My honest advice: the hotel should finish all renovations and be fully ready before accepting guests. It doesn’t deserve a stay at the moment.
