    Loved the comfortable room and friendly service of not just the reception staff, but also housekeeping and security. Plenty of food options in the area too, from morning till late night. Only issue was our room was at the end, closer to the main road so it can be noisy from car horns and people shouting. Woke me up every morning. Would suggest you request for a room away from the main road if you're also a light sleeper.

    Up to the moment you check out, the experience is normal. This is my second visit. We thought we would give this hotel another chance due to the location close to the Hong Kong border. Both times we check out the experience had been awful. First time, the staff just took my phone without explanation and started pressing it. Phone is something personal. It has a lot of personal data. He claimed he was helping me leave a review, but why can’t I do that myself or he asked for permission first. They begged me not to leave a bad review and apologised so I didn’t. This time as we checked out another staff was once again extremely rude. All we wanted was some luggage tags for us to leave our luggage for a later pick up. He just yelled leave it right there. So we kept looking for the luggage tags where he had said, but there wasn’t any. So we had to ask another staff to finally get some. Why do people work at front desk when they don’t intend to treat the guests right? This is why I need to leave a review for people to beware. Just because we don’t speak putonghua (we only speak Cantonese and English) doesn't mean we should be treated this way.
