    I stayed here for just one night but wished that my travel schedule allowed for more. The lovely staff member who greeted me (Venia?) was a delight and really helpful. The rooms were clean, beautifully designed and the AC worked extremely well.

    We stayed two nights at Southside, having got the booking at short notice after other arrangements 'fell through'. Staff were extremely friendly with good suggestions for places to visit, eat, etc and helped to arrange our transfer back to Tagbilaran. Rooms are not large and are relatively spartan, but ours had two double beds that were firm and comfortable with a good shower and air-con. While there is no dining at Southside, they are only a short walk from the excellent Food and Fables cafe/restaurant and the Fox and the Firefly Cottages - and just a short tuk-tuk ride from the central area of Loboc. Definitely consider, if you are not hooked on the whole resort thing.
