Blue Mesa Lodge 32A by AvantStay

Location is amazing. Clean, which is huge for us. Parking was super easy. View of the mountains and the gondola. No keys needed. Beds were comfortable. There was a dining table that could fit four. It had a kitchen with a mini fridge that has an actual freezer. They had silverware, pots, pans, spices, olive oil and all of the basics. There were also lots of extra suppplies like trash bags and sponges, even batteries of multiple sizes. We enjoyed the balcony, too. The bathroom was plenty big.

We were very satisfied with our stay, but it could use a few updates. The kitchen counter was tiny. Almost no overhead lighting made it dark. Some of the lights were loud. The bulbs in the lights by the beds had two brightness settings, but the bulbs didn’t support dimming so they flickered on the dimmer setting. The shower is a tub and was slick. Water pressure wasn’t great, but was adequate. The molding in front of the vanity kick plate was missing and you can see bare wood and the outline of glue. We heard no noise from the hall, laundry room next door or the other adjoining unit, but we could hear footsteps from upstairs.
