Property like it showed in the pictures. Easy to get around greater Manchester, and free parking was a great bonus.

Sofa cushions, sofa throws, a lamp in the bedrooms and in the living room would make it more cosy.

The location was good and the property was clean.

There were notices on every single door of the apartment telling us what we should not be doing. It somewhat ruined the atmosphere. We were not allowed to cook 'food with particularly strong or lingering aromas'. I found this quite strange. Personally, we only made toast, but I feel like this restricts people from cooking what they want and need, including cultural foods. Also, this was very ironic as the hallway leading to the front door stunk the most. We were also warned about the toilet. This sign notice was phrased in a way that we would be at fault if the toilet is blocked and we would have to pay the fee for a service repair. Understandably, overfilling toilets of course lead to blocking the drainage. I feel like this is a given. However, the actual water pressure and supply was so weak that this indicated to me that blockages have occured before. Therefore, I saw this as more of an excuse and deflection of the average water pressure and drainage system that the property offers rather than a fault of the visitor. The threat to charge a fine with a notice in the toilets just felt uncomfortable. Constantly on edge worrying that the situation was set up to fail. Other signs plastered on the doors were a bit more reasonable, but again I feel as adults this is unnecessary. This information can be relayed in email or the long WhatsApp messages sent to the visitor directly rather than multiple signs around the property like a school. In total, there were 9 notices across 4 seperate rooms. It was excessive. Lastly, there was no iron. I very rarely have ever visited a property that has no iron. In the UK, I don't recall ever visiting one that didn't at least supply an iron even if it wasn't permanently in the room or property. Throughout the 2 days of stay, myself and my friend couldn't iron our clothes and had to spend our weekend in creased clothes. I feel like an iron should be mandatory.
