Le Grenier d'Antan - Relax Suite Aosta

A stone's throw away from Aosta's historical centre, this modern chalet on the main road is very practical for someone like me who was looking to break a long road journey before returning home. Weather was still wintry so the wooden interior made it that much warmer. Proximity to some of the better restaurants in Aosta also meant we had ample time to visit the city, get back to the room and get ready before dinner all on foot. My second option was a hotel in the city centre but in hindsight, given the foot traffic and the somewhat noisy streets, this was certainly a better option.

Furniture was very sparse and spartan. Some good decorative elements from the region would have brightened up the place. This is not to say I didn't like it, but the place has enormous potential that isn't fully explored. Breakfast option would make it a more attractive stopover for my type of journey where I was breaking a long trip.

Das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet, das Auto konnten wir sicher im Hof parken. Das Badezimmer war komfortabel. Fußläufig ist man sehr schnell im Ort.

Unser Zimmer hatte die Fenster und eine komplette Glastür zur Vorderseite. Beides hatte nur blickdichte Jalousie. Ein Vorhang wäre wünschenswert gewesen. Es ging also nur entweder das Licht einschalten bei geschlossener Jalousie, oder vollen Einblick akzeptieren.

The property was well looked after . It was an easy walk to the main streets of shops and restaurants. Great kitchen and beautiful touches in the apartment. I appreciated the keypad system for the door. Didn’t have to take a key with you. We had the apartment with spa. Enjoyed a relaxing soak after a day out sightseeing . Elisa helped us with a problem we encountered . It was very helpful
