On the surface the property was as advertised.

Upon entering the cabin, we were immediately met with a very strong burnt odor that smelled like burnt pizza. Unfortunately, the smell lingered throughout our entire three-day stay. While unloading our cooler, we accidentally spilled some water on the floor. When we wiped it up with paper towels, the towels came back black from dirt. That immediately made me question the overall cleanliness of the cabin. If the floors were that dirty, it made me wonder how thoroughly the rest of the cabin had been cleaned. I contacted the host right away and was told that the cleaning crew only mops the floors after every other guest. That was surprising, as it does not align with how the property’s cleaning practices are advertised. Based on the amount of dirt that came off the floor, I’m not convinced they are being cleaned nearly that often. The host did offer to send the cleaning crew back, but I declined. I don’t feel comfortable having cleaners come into the cabin during my stay, and I don’t think guests should have to deal with cleaning issues after they’ve already checked in. The bed was also extremely uncomfortable, so that’s something future guests may want to consider.
