Lovely garden with plenty of room to spread out..decent beds and bedding..house is spacious and overall clean and well equipped..Was quiet with calm pleasant atmosphere.. great hosts who allowed short exit extension and checked in with us on day one that all was okay (although I didn’t see the message that day).. Fair pricing.. We were there only for a weekend to attend a wedding so cannot comment on visitor attractions etc, but would have liked to stay at the house longer and would happily stay there again if in the area.
Some windows stiff to open and some was unable to open..(especially main bathroom) but could open enough windows / doors for good enough airflow on a hot weekend.. Slightly overgrown hedges restricted drivers’ view getting out of gateway and especially into some busy traffic at top of road onto Spring Hill. Hopefully this is rectified for the next guests.

Fab location. stunning gardens and local eateries. Great comms from hosts and everything we needed was available for a super family weekend away with the dog.
The only thing I can think of would be to enclose the garden but as my dog doesn't go far not an issue for us.

This is a lovely cottage in a beautiful location right beside the canal. The cottage is spacious with a good sized dining room and a comfy lounge. The use of a log burner also adds warmth and a focal point to the room. The hosts were excellent with great communications and support. We would love to stay here again.
Some outside lighting would be good. One of the bedrooms had bad condensation and was cold. The dinner plates do not fit in the small microwave, it was hard to dish up Christmas lunch and have it hot.
