The owner was lovely. He was proud of his family's Hotel and talked about the building's history, which we listened to with great interest. The rooms were above standard for the area. The location worked well for us as it was near the ferry and downtown. We were also prepared a breakfast in a bag since our departure was before breakfast hours, which was not expected but appreciated. We would stay again and would recommend others to stay at the Archontiko Hotel Kalymnos.

There was an issue with the owner, but Vallia called us (someone we hadn’t met before) and she kindly offered us an extra 2-night stay due to George’s mistake and the argument we witnessed among the staff. The cleanliness wasn’t great. Vallia, on behalf of Booking, gave us this 2-night voucher, and I will definitely use it with my husband. I’ll go back to see that things have improved and share my feedback with the owners as well.
When you speak with Vallia on the phone, you can immediately sense professionalism and reason, but when you actually arrive there, it feels like dealing with a poor owner or someone just looking to make friends because they feel lonely it’s truly unfortunate. That’s why I changed my rating from 1 to 10 for both our bookings.

Amabilidad del personal. Ubicación junto al puerto y el autobús. Habitación amplia y luminosa.
En mi habitación, "Fournos", el colchón era incómodo, se notaban los muelles. Se oía bastante ruido del exterior. En el baño solamente una pequeña pastilla de jabón para tres días. El desayuno desorganizado , si no llegabas a primera hora se acababan los productos.
