Residenza Wega - Luxury Apartments Verona

Très bel appartement très bien équipé. Chambres très bien aménagées et lits confortables.

Tout était très bien. Peut-être juste prévoir de l’eau dans le frigo.

We had a lovely stay in Verona. The accommodation itself is beautifully designed, and the location is fantastic, very central and within easy walking distance of the amphitheatre and the main attractions, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient.

There are just a few areas that could be improved. The room could have been a little cleaner on arrival and had a slightly stale smell. Additionally, the communication leading up to check-in wasn't always consistent or as informative as we had anticipated. This made the arrival process feel a little stressful and less seamless than expected.

Exceptional location and gorgeous apartment with a luxurious and historical feel. Great space and facilities for a family of 6. Luggage storage as an added bonus to allow a few hours of sightseeing after check out.

Apartment location is excellent. Close to the Verona arena and main square. Information centre at the end of the street and staff were lovely- giving us lots of information and providing print outs of things to do, plus a bus timetable for a day trip we did to Lake Garda at the end of our stay . They were so helpful.

Management. We had issues with the link they wanted for us to upload our passport details, which despite me asking if it had worked they didn’t tell us. Just before we were leaving Trieste. When I pushed they came back and said no, so I resubmitted through another method and they said it worked. Then we were told we had to pay the city tax which we were fine with and they sent the link to us for payment of the city tax, which was just as we were boarding our train from Trieste to Verona which I told them. The link did not work with dead spots on the train , which when we could get internet reception we advised them of. We said we would give them the payment in cash when we arrived, but they insisted we had to use the link and if we didn’t they would not provide the codes for entry to the apartment. We finally managed to get them to agree to accept cash on arrival and they proved the codes. They asked us to confirm we were in the apartment and provide a photo showing the city tax payment of 50euro in cash which we did and that the cleaning staff would collect it the next day. Subsequently I saw a staff member and gave them the money. Our next issue was trying to get the wifi to work, they gave us half the information and we had to call again to clarify- finally got mine to work, but my husband gave up. He had not been well and got progressively worse and we decided he needed urgent medical help. I checked where the nearest Accident &Emergency department at a hospital was and called the apartment help like to ask if I had it right. Explained he was unwell and was I correct in the choice I had made as the closest - response was yes, no further interest, so we went to A &E. The hospital staff were wonderful, ran tests and said they wanted to keep him in, placed him on a drip and he underwent a medical procedure under anaesthetic the next morning for a blockage in his oesophagus, a total surprise to both of us.
