Kemet Hotel Tahrir Square

My stay at Kemet Hotel in Cairo was generally good. The room was comfortable and appropriate for a three-star hotel. However, the soundproofing could be improved, as noise from the main street was quite noticeable inside the room, which may affect comfort and quietness, particularly at night. One of the most positive aspects of my stay was the hotel manager, who was extremely polite, respectful, and professional in his dealings with guests. I would particularly like to thank him for his kindness, understanding, and excellent attitude. The staff in general were good, friendly, and cooperative, and I appreciated their service throughout my stay. The location of the hotel is very good and is definitely one of its strongest advantages, providing convenient access to many places and services in Cairo. Overall, it was a good experience considering the hotel's three-star rating. With improved soundproofing in the rooms, the stay could be even more comfortable.

What I did not particularly enjoy was the breakfast, which I found very basic and below my expectations. In my experience, there are other three-star hotels that offer a noticeably better and more varied breakfast. The spa and wellness services were also very limited, with some services not readily available. The spa area itself felt rather small and confined, which reduced the overall relaxation experience. In addition, the hotel lacks an attractive café or restaurant area where guests can comfortably sit, relax, enjoy a drink, or spend some time during the day or evening. I believe adding or improving such a space would significantly enhance the overall guest experience. These areas, particularly the breakfast, spa facilities, and food and beverage options, could benefit from further improvement.

Sehr freundliches und immer hilfsbereites Personal, besonders Naglaa, die sich um unser Zimmer gekümmert hat. Trotz der zentralen Lage des Hotels hatten wir ein sehr ruhiges Zimmer.

Aamiainen oli monipuolinen. Paikat olivat siistit.

Hotelli oli pienoinen pettymys. Lakanat olivat erittäin huonolaatuiset ja tyynyt aivan liian suuria. Pienempiä ei ollut saatavilla. Suihku oli asennettu oudosti. Ilmastointi oli aivan liian kylmä (sitä ei saanut lämpimämmäksi eikä pienemmälle teholle), joten sitä joutui yön aikana säätämään päälle ja pois. Henkilökunta ei puhunut englantia, ainoastaan vastaanotossa hiukan.
