Cabin in front of Grand Paradis and Arolla

The friendliness of the lady who welcomed us (Thank you Cristiana!). The overall setup of the apartment - nice living room, kitchenette and balcony with three bedrooms. The great location with beautiful views of the mountains and Cogne and the short 10 minute walk to the centre.

Maybe the matresses on the beds could have been more comfortable, but that was a small issue only, maybe related more to what we are used to at home.

The house is really cozy and warm, and even though it’s a bit further up from Cogne, it’s only a 10-15min walk away (depending on how fast you go). The neighbor who checked us in and out was really helpful and responsive, and concerned about our safety as we arrived with a lot of snow on the roads.

There were no basic toiletries, which is not what is advertised. There was a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom but that’s it, not even spare rolls or hand soap. The neighbor kindly gave us some of her own soaps and shampoos so that we could shower the night we arrived, after all the shops had closed. There were also no instructions for things like heating, WiFi, what to do before checking out, and no recommendations on what to do in the area. Same thing, we had to ask the nice neighbor about a lot of things as we went. The host is responsive but very much not proactive and quite curt by message.
