Doria 2-Bedroom Apartment & Balcony in Larnaca

Clean and neat apartment, lovely big balcony. Easy to obtain keys. Anything you needed was available. Beds were very comfortable - I actually slept very well which is unusual for me in a strange bed! For us the location was fine as we were visiting family and they live 5 minutes away. However, not the most picturesque of places although it is a residential area. Overlooking a petrol station but the upside is there is a lovely little coffee shop next to it - handy for coffee and pastries for breakfast.

We wanted a late check out and was told could only have one, if on the day of departure, the housekeeping staffs schedule allowed. This then meant we didn't bother asking for it as hard to plan for. We stayed out of season, so a little flexibility might have been nice.

Comfortable and modern new unit that works for very short term rental when dining outside. Convenient when working in the industrial area nearby. Beds and bathrooms are great.

-Multiple channels of communication (email or booking.com, text, Whatsapp) made it difficult to find the information when needed. Less would work better for me. -No remote was left in the box to open the gate when we arrived. - A single set of keys is not enough when more than one group is not on the same schedule. This is very unusual. The following was inconvenient for everyday life : - the dining plates are too big to fit in the dishwasher. - there is no dish cloth for use in the kitchen. - There are two electric outlets in the kitchen in a small area with little space to plug 4 devices: the microwave, toaster, water boiler and coffee maker. We had to move the coffee maker and electric boiler over the cooktop to use them. . - There is a broom but no dustpan. Although we would have liked it, we could not pick up the dust (we stayed one week thus the need to use the broom). - two bedside lamps are not plugged and we had to use the kitchen adapters to use them. - the two toilet seats were very loose, I'm not sure whether the unit was verified before we checked in.
