The immediate neighborhood offers a bit of a vintage 60's and 70's vibe of a traditional Greek coastal town, with traditional shops, tavernas, and fruit stands, and is only one block away from the main street of Paleo Faliro, which offers a pleasant walk down toward the beach.

The Terrace:
The terrace truly offers indoor/outdoor living. Although it is an apartment, it almost feels like a villa, because it has a lot of usable outdoor space, as well as plants and some greenery. The terrace is unusually large and wraps around the property, with an outdoor dining table just next to the kitchen, for easy outdoor dining. There is also a north facing seating area, a south-facing area with sunbeds, and an east facing area with a hammock.

While the terrace offers breathtaking views, ***it is not recommended for children under the age of 12, due to the balcony railings, and the size and the presence of sharp cactus plants.

The Building:
The building was built in 1968, and the architecture retains the character of that era.
Although the penthouse was renovated circa 9 years ago, surrounded by sliding glass doors and electric shutters, it still retains some of its vintage personality, with original interior doors and closets, and a mix of antique and modern furniture. With open-plan kitchen and living areas, and circa 3 meter high ceilings, it has a light and airy feel.
There are some superficial imperfections, which should not affect your enjoyment of the property. (Specifically, at some point the owner intends to update the bathroom window frame, and the smaller window frame and shade in the grey bedroom. There is also a small area of wood floor in one of the bedrooms, circa 1 square meter, that needs re-finishing. None of these improvements are urgent, and would not affect your stay, or the overall look of the property. Also, at some point the owner plans to update the gardening, as the plants do need a bit of improvement).

Bedrooms
This penthouse has two comfortable bedrooms:
A master bedroom with a queen-size bed (160 cm wide), with a firm sprung mattress.
A second bedroom with a double bed (140 cm wide), with a medium-firm sprung mattress.
Additionally, a folding single bed is available, ideal for a child or an adult who’s comfortable in a folding single bed.

Spacious Bathroom: The large bathroom comes with both a tub and a separate shower. It was originally two bathrooms that the prior owner knocked into one bigger bathroom.

Large Kitchen with Casual Seating Area: The fully-equipped kitchen offers ample space for cooking.
The wifi router and 42 inch TV are also located there. (Please note, there is no dishwasher in the kitchen. Also, the televisionis has internet access, so you can watch your Netflix account, YouTube or other streaming). There is a clothes washing machine in the kitchen, with spin cycle (however, there is no separate clothes dryer machine. There is a folded drying rack available).

Indoor Space: Inside, you’ll find a generous 160 m² (over 1,700 square feet) living space, perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach or sightseeing.

Prime Location: Walk to a beautiful beach, boardwalk, and the famous Edem Beach Taverna. Enjoy the vibrant Flisvos Marina with boats, shops and restaurants, or take a short taxi ride to downtown Athens to explore the Acropolis, as well as other cultural landmarks and lively attractions.

Four supermarkets very nearby, including My Market, Bazaar, AB and Lidl, make it easy to stock up on essentials during your stay. Only one block away from the Main Street of "Agiou Alexandrou" which offers many amenities, pharmacies, cafes, shops, etc.

For families with children, please notify us of their ages, and due to the large terrace and cactuses, we don't feel the penthouse is appropriate for children under age 12.
