About this house rental
Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. When you walk in the door, the views will take your breath away! The house sits on a quiet street, with the backside on Balboa Park, overlooking the golf course below, tons of greenery, and downtown in the distance. We completed a major renovation in 2023 and decorated with all new furniture and amenities. The front yard is fully gated and turfed. Two blocks to South Park shops, just minutes from downtown, the zoo, Coronado Island, and more!
This home is ideal for couples, friends, golf aficionados, and families! Quiet and romantic for a dinner for two on the back patio overlooking the golf course. Minimalistic design, rounded coffee table, and gated front yard makes it safe for young children. Front row views of Balboa Golf Course and 5 minute drive to the first hole makes it fun and easy for golfers! And close to South Park shops, cafes, bars, and downtown makes it great for the friend groups who want to explore! Beach chairs, beach towels, pack-n-play, high chair, baby utensils, family board games, yard games, coffee maker, espresso/cappuccino maker, and lots more amenities provided!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Kalmia. The home offers up amazing views from every room, and lets in a lot of natural light. Really enjoyed drinking my morning coffee and after-dinner tea on the balcony, while counting airplanes disappear over the skyline! Awesome job by Sunny with the entire renovation. The kitchen and amenities are well-appointed, with a lot of thoughtful touches throughout.Sharing your family's backstory and history with the house made me appreciate it even more.You can't beat the neighborhood and location. It's on a quiet one-way street with a lot of great choices for independent shops, restaurants, bars/breweries, and cafes all within walking distance. Balboa Park is just a short drive away, as well as downtown and Petco Park for ballgames.We loved relaxing and taking it easy in this spacious, well-designed, and comfortable home. Can't wait to be back!
