This 3 bed apartment in the McCulloch Mansion sits just down the street from Promenade Park, the Landing, and all the fun downtown! The Hugh McCulloch House is a historic home built in 1843 and it features a projecting front portico supported by four Doric order columns. It was built by U.S. statesman and United States Secretary of the Treasury Hugh McCulloch (1808-1895), and remained in the family until 1887. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
This is the McCulloch mansion, a 12,000 sq ft property that has 5 apartments total. We love how much downtown Fort Wayne has grown and love the combination of the new attractions with the history of this mansion property built in 1843.
Our apartment features a convenient electronic lock for easy guest access! Upon booking and the rental agreement is filled out, you'll receive a unique code for the lock, allowing you to enter the apartment with a simple keypad entry. No need to worry about keys or coordinating check-ins! You'll have 24/7 access to your private space, providing flexibility and convenience during your stay!

This property is just down the street from Promenade Park and the Landing so you will have walking access to all of downtown Fort Wayne! It is just minutes from Headwaters Park, The Grand Wayne Center, and Fort Wayne Outfitters (kayak, canoe, and paddleboard rentals). Downtown Barr Street has a farmers market every Saturday during the warmer months too!
Everything downtown is within walking distance, otherwise VeoRide is new to the area and there's tons of electric scooters and bikes you can locate nearby to scoot on around downtown or wherever you'd like to adventure to! There are lots of bus stops near the property if you would like to take Citilink Transit. Uber/Lyft are also great options as well.

Property was very nice. My only complaint would be the floor rug needs tape underneath it. Guest tripped on it

It was my wish this year to have my children around me in a non-stressed environment. Since my recent divorce from an abusive husband, my heart and Spirit needed this time to bond and renew our faith in family. This was definitely the place to go! The 3 bedroom 2 bath living quarters were perfect for our family! The property was large and the owners were very understanding, kind, compassionate, and quickly responded to any of my needs or concerns! Would recommend this home to ANYONE!

The apartment was a bit shabby and the kitchen was not well stocked - no glasses, measuring spoons. The entrance to the mansion had an odd smell and the leaves outside the side door had not been cleared which made it hard to get our suitcases up the ramp.
