✵ The shipyard across the street sounds a brief air horn at 7am and 9pm for shift changes. It’s noticeable but not disruptive—my son and I sleep right through it.

The location was just a few blocks from shops, restaurants and tourist sites. We walked to stores, a brewery, and a great coffee/breakfast place. The house had a quirky design in some spots but met our needs for a short stay. I was looking for a toaster in the kitchen- maybe I didn’t look hard enough. The towels in the bathrooms were great!
