The place is also an excellent starting point for recreation lovers - in the vicinity there are numerous hiking and cycling trails, viewpoints, Szklarki and Kamieńczyk waterfalls, Krucze Skały, Zakręt Śmierci, Chybotek and Złoty Widok. In addition, in close proximity there is: Leśna Huta, a rope park, a family amusement park, the Garden of the Mountain Spirit, the Dinosaur Park and the Mineralogical Museum. Ski lovers will find a place for themselves in Ski Arena Szrenica, on cross-country skiing trails in Jakuszyce and numerous slopes in neighbouring towns in Poland and the Czech Republic. From here, it is also not far to the historic uranium mine in Kowary, the crystal smelter in Piechowice, Chojnik Castle, the Cieplikie thermal baths, the Wang Temple, the rock city of Adrspach and Harrachov, famous for its ski jumps.
