Other things to note
If you're looking for quiet home in the keys this is your listing. The neighborhood is very peaceful. We have access to the bayside thru a private small channel that allows for 32-35 ft boat(s). Only residents usually visit this area.
If you bring a pet (see rules/fees) the home is not enclosed with a fence so you will need to monitor the pet stays within the property lines and owners must clean up after their pet.
*NO SMOKING IN THE HOUSE OF ANY KIND! ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!! Including the downstairs enclosed area. *
NO PARTIES. Respecting our community is our top priority.
NO GLASS in or near the pool. We have a number of plastic wine glasses and cups available for you.
The home has bikes available but you bike at your own risk. Please make yourself familiar with all bike lanes and rules that apply to the area.
Daily GUESTS are welcome but you will be responsible for informing them of the rules
CLEANING CREW- included in the cleaning fee is a bi-weekly cleaning visit for the duration of your stay.
The areas around bodies of water are homes to critters such as but not limited to American Crocodiles, iguanas, rodents, insects. We have a pest control company visit quarterly/as needed; however, we cannot guarantee that any such critters will not be visible around the property. The presence of any such critters does not entitle the guest to a refund. Sometimes you may have visitor such as dolphins or manatees.
MOSQUITOES/BUGS: After 4:00 pm (dawn) we recommend that you use repellent and close all screens carefully. The tropical pests love it out there just as much as people.
If you do not live in the state of FL, it is imperative you do your own research on animals, insects, & reptiles that live in this state. Especially around bodies of water and the laws the apply to them or protect them.
Recreational fishing off the dock is permitted.
No swimming in the canal.
