Ms. C and Mr. W are AMAZING hosts! Their thoughtfulness, care, friendliness, respect, helpfulness, kindness, and hospitality were not only evident in the setup of the overall space, but also in our communications. My flight was delayed, and knowing I was arriving late at night, Ms. C generously referred me to a 24-hour restaurant close to the airport before arriving to the room. They also recommended restaurants, grocery stores, sites to visit, and activities/events to participate in that were taking place locally in Cataño and elsewhere in Puerto Rico (since we rented a car). They also generously provided us with earplugs during our stay since Cataño is quite the party city, especially on weekends. Cataño is a perfect place to stay, because it's away from tourists but very close to sites like Old San Juan and La Perla (via a 12-minute ferry ride; port is within walking distance), as well as a short drive to San Juan. There are so many local restaurants, clubs, bars, and a few grocery stores within walking distance as well, and the boardwalk is a lovely place to walk as well. My favorite part of our stay was connecting with locals living in Cataño. They are so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms, bathroom, living room/entrance, and kitchen/dining area are very clean. The kitchen/dining area is a great space to cook and eat breakfast together. I already miss the people and soundtrack of the city, but We'll be back and will be booking this room again very soon!
