The Space:
The Hummingbird is built for connection—with sweeping mountain views from the back deck and entertainment at every turn inside. The living room features vaulted ceilings, a stone fireplace, and large windows framing the mountainside views. Smart TVs and fast Wi-Fi make movie nights and remote work effortless.
Downstairs is your private rec haven: play a round of pool, fire up the foosball table, or challenge your crew to a shuffleboard match. The retro arcade brings the nostalgia, and the sauna gives you a perfect place to unwind. Every level of the cabin offers mountain views, cozy spaces, and room for everyone to relax.
Guest Access:
Guests have private access to the entire cabin, including all indoor and outdoor spaces. The property sits off a steep primarily gravel road with moderate inclines. AWD/4x4 is strongly recommended—especially in rainy or winter conditions. Ample parking available.

Located on Grizzly Bear Trail in scenic Sautee Nacoochee, The Hummingbird offers total peace, privacy, and long-range views. It’s remote enough to disconnect—but still close to Helen, Sautee Nacoochee, hiking, and wineries when you're ready to explore.
Getting Around:
A personal vehicle is required. The road is steep and can be rough in poor weather—4x4 or AWD is highly advised. You'll receive detailed arrival instructions before check-in.

Our host was very helpful, responsive, and welcoming! Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Hummingbird. We would definitely stay there again if the opportunity arises. Such a beautiful home with amazing views!
