Our stay at this stunning property was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how impeccably clean and well-maintained everything was—every detail had clearly been thoughtfully prepared to make guests feel comfortable and at home. Not to mention the kind and warm welcome party of the host when we arrived after dark. The amenities truly exceeded our expectations. From the fully equipped kitchens, to sleeping quarters, everything we needed (and more) was right at our fingertips. It felt like a perfect blend of luxury and comfort, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment of our stay.What really set this experience apart, though, was the host. David was incredibly warm, responsive, and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued throughout our visit, everything from a tour of the property (and teaching us about plants and wildlife) to even getting me out of a jam when we had a flat tire. And the views—simply breathtaking. Whether it was enjoying a quiet morning coffee or winding down in the evening from the pool and hottub (or balcony), the stunning scenery provided a peaceful and unforgettable backdrop that made our stay even more special.I can’t recommend this place highly enough. It was a truly memorable experience. Thank you David for a wonderful Costa Rican memory for my party and I. Pura Vida!

David and Josie were all around excellent hosts! Thoughtful and considered in preparing us before our trip with recommendations for food and activities. They were welcoming when we arrived, and reactive throughout our stay!The guesthouse itself was clean, modern, well appointed and lovingly cared for. The grounds are beautiful. The large balcony and the hot tub were highlights of our stay. The location is a truly immersive experience in the cloud forest — we enjoyed the misty mornings, the view when it clears, and the sounds and sights of various birds & critters. The location does mean you’re a bit more remote and driving on dirt roads — so make sure to discuss best routes before getting there.

David and Josie are truly the GOATs of hosts! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The property is absolutely amazing. The views, the sounds, and the wildlife allow you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of Costa Rica.Because the home is located in the mountains, I highly recommend renting a 4x4. The drive can be a bit bumpy, but the views make every minute worth it. We traveled with our four teenagers and felt safe the entire time. The house is in a gated community with solid security features, which gave us extra peace of mind.The location was perfect for day trips to La Fortuna and Tenorio National Park. Just be sure to ask your hosts for road recommendations — we made the mistake of trusting Waze and ended up needing to be rescued by David (thank you again!).Every morning, I enjoyed my coffee on the patio while bird‑watching. We saw Toucans, Green Parrots, Hummingbirds, Oropendola, and so many others. Every evening, we ended the day with a spectacular sunset.This home and its hosts made our trip unforgettable. Highly recommend!
