Wake Up to One of Cabo's Best Views
Imagine starting your day with a cup of coffee on your private oceanfront balcony as the Sea of Cortez stretches out in front of you. January is peak humpback whale season in Cabo, and it's common to spot whales breaching or spouting just offshore while the resort is still quiet.
As the day winds down, the same balcony becomes the perfect place for a sunset drink or a relaxing soak in the private jacuzzi while listening to the waves below. It's one of those rare places where you don't feel the need to rush anywhere.
The Penthouse
This spacious Oceanfront Penthouse comfortably accommodates up to six adults with two bedrooms and three full bathrooms, making it ideal for two couples, a family, or a multi-generational vacation.
The primary suite features a king bed and a large ensuite bathroom with a soaking tub, walk-in shower, and double vanity. The second bedroom offers two queen beds and its own private bathroom, giving everyone plenty of space and privacy.
The open living and dining area flows naturally onto the oversized furnished balcony, where you'll likely spend as much time as you do indoors. A full kitchen, washer and dryer, Smart TVs, air conditioning, and daily housekeeping make it easy to settle in whether you're preparing breakfast before heading out or relaxing after a day by the pool.
Why We Love This Resort
We've stayed at several luxury resorts in Cabo, and Villa La Valencia offers a combination that's surprisingly hard to find.
Families naturally gravitate to the 1,148-foot lazy river, spacious pools, and room for everyone to spread out. At the same time, couples and groups of adults appreciate the adults-only pool, excellent restaurants, spa, and relaxed atmosphere that never feels dominated by children's activities.
One of the things we enjoy most is the dining. Even if you choose the optional all-inclusive plan, dining doesn't revolve around a single buffet. We like having the flexibility to enjoy a great steak at Latitude 23.5, fresh seafood and Spanish-inspired dishes at La Taberna, authentic Mexican cuisine at El Patrón, or pizza and flatbreads at Coralle. Having that variety makes the resort feel much more like a collection of restaurants than a typical all-inclusive.
We also love the location. Sitting between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo, it's easy to spend the day exploring either town before returning to the quieter setting of the resort.
For us, January is one of the best times to visit. The weather is comfortable, the crowds haven't reached spring break levels, and whale season adds something special to almost every morning.
