The bedrooms include one double with a TV and one twin, along with a bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin, and WC. Outside, roadside parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Within 0.1 miles, you will find a shop and a pub. Please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are all included in the price. Today, there are several shops in the town including a small supermarket, chemist, bank and Post Office, along with two book/gift shops, a kilt-making centre and two cafes. All four pubs in the town have restaurant facilities and welcome children. Castle Douglas, a 15-minute drive away, offers an extensive range of shops, Threave Gardens and boating on Carlingwark Loch.
