Or take a scenic summer lift ride to enjoy mile-long Blue Ridge Mountain views. You're also within easy reach of the Beech Summer Concert Series, local hiking trails, waterfalls, breweries, and outdoor adventures. Enjoy exploring other High Country activities - an 11-minute drive brings you down the mountain to Banner Elk, Sugar Mountain, or Buckeye Recreation Center. Grandfather Mountain, The Blue Ridge Parkway, and Boone are all within an hour's drive, providing ample outdoor exploration options.
Inside, you'll find a main-level living room with leather sofas gathered around a stacked stone gas fireplace and a big-screen TV with cable. The kitchen is quaint and functional, with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a coffee cart to start your day. A Blackstone gas griddle is available on the deck, where you can relax in a peaceful wooded setting.
Sleeping arrangements include a King bedroom and a Queen bedroom on the main floor, sharing a full bathroom. A spiral staircase leads upstairs to a sitting area with a comfortable sectional sofa, a second King bedroom, and a second Queen bedroom sharing a full bathroom. Another spiral staircase leads to the lower-level kids' room, which features a twin-over-twin bunk bed, a TV, and an arcade game.
Additional amenities include WiFi, cable TV in all bedrooms, and a washer and dryer. Two dogs are welcome with your reservation, subject to an additional fee. During winter months (Oct–March), 4-wheel drive or AWD is strongly recommended, and chains may be required during snow or icy conditions to ensure safe travel.
