Door of the hotel was locked and we had to call a number written on the door. Someone came around 5-8 minutes to open the door. No staff around, no guests, no life at all. It was spooky. The man said we're doing renovations. it is not fonctionnel.. He gave us a room on the 3rd floor but elevator doesn't work.. we are in our late 70's and we could not go up 3 floors with suitcases. I said to cancel our reservation. He did and I must add, he was very polite. This hotel should not rent any room right now or give them for $***/night if you are willing to claim 3 floors with no service at all. Restaurant/Pud is closed...

I chose this hotel for cost, availability and location. The place was being renovated, but, from searching on line and talking with locals, it seems that the hotel has been like this for years. Only one person works there and he's never around. Elevator is broken, stairs are old and seem unstable, underground garage needs to be physically opened and closed, Stinky hotel, portable air conditioner turns on every 2 or 3 minutes; hard to sleep. Very sad.

I was informed at check in that renovations are happening, elevator is not operational, and would I still like to stay or opt to leave with a refund.
Too late to do anything and don’t want hassle of dealing with online booking for refunds.
However, room was excellent. Everything a you expect as a traveller. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure. Nice room overall.
