Location was good, however it’s in downtown so there are so many noises at night time. The vibe was kind of weird they told me that they are not responsible about anything that happens in the room. And since it’s a mixed dorm so they can’t do anything if anything happened. And that if anything happened from any guy they are not responsible for that .. it was a weird vibe

The receipt displayed the last four digits of a bank card that did not match the card I had used to make the payment. When I asked for clarification, the receptionist explained that this could be due to the involvement of a third-party booking platform, such as Agoda.com, Booking.com, or Expedia, through which payments may be processed. While I understand that third-party payment arrangements can sometimes result in differences between the guest's payment card and the payment details displayed on a receipt, the explanation provided did not fully clarify the specific transaction in my case. I believe that guests should receive clear and transparent information about payment processing and be able to verify that any receipt accurately reflects their accommodation payment. 2. Unannounced €50 Deposit Requirement Another concern was the request to provide a €50 deposit to cover potential damage to the hostel's property. I could not find this requirement in the accommodation information presented on Agoda.com when I booked my bed. The receptionist referred to information displayed on Booking.com to explain the deposit requirement. However, my reservation was made through Agoda.com, not Booking.com. I therefore believe that any mandatory deposit requirements and relevant conditions should be clearly communicated to guests through the platform on which they make their reservations, before the booking is completed. If the deposit is a mandatory condition of staying at the hostel, I would expect this requirement to be disclosed clearly on the Agoda.com listing or in the applicable booking terms. I would appreciate clarification regarding the basis for this requirement and why it was not apparent in the information available to me when making the reservation. 3. Access to Common Facilities After Check-out I was also concerned by the receptionist's explanation that checking out generally meant leaving the hostel premises and no longer using its common facilities. In my experience, many hostels allow guests to remain in designated common areas for a reasonable period after check-out, particularly when they need to wait for transportation, meet someone, or wait for adverse weather conditions to improve. Some hostels also provide luggage storage after check-out, subject to their policies and available facilities. I understand that each accommodation provider may establish its own rules regarding post-check-out access. However, I believe these restrictions should be communicated clearly in advance so that guests can plan their departure accordingly. If guests are required to leave the entire premises immediately after checking out, I would appreciate clarification on this policy and whether it was disclosed in the accommodation information provided through Agoda.com. Conclusion Overall, I believe that greater transparency regarding payment verification, mandatory deposits, and post-check-out facilities would help prevent misunderstandings and improve the guest experience. I respectfully encourage the hostel management and Agoda.com to review these matters and ensure that important accommodation conditions are communicated clearly and consistently before guests complete their reservations.
