It is rare for us to find a place that exceeds our expectations in every way. La Corte Dell'Annuziata did just that. The home was spectacular - extremely spacious, beautifully decorated, with every amenity conceivable, including wonderfully comfortable beds, heated floors, a well appointed kitchen and a lovely quiet courtyard. It is rare to find a place more beautiful than the photos. This is that place. The location was phenomenal, on a very quiet street yet just steps from all the great restaurants and shops Sulmona has to offer. Moreover, the hosts, Melania and Giuliana were so attentive and thoughtful. They met us at our car, transported our luggage, then walked us through the entire house to make sure we understood how everything worked. They also made sure we knew about the best restaurants in town, fun activities for our teenaged daughter, and how to take full advantage of the amazing celebrations that took place in Sulmona over Easter weekend. As we said goodbye to our wonderful hosts, their beautiful home and the town of Sulmona, my husband and I found ourselves actually getting choked up - we did not want to leave! We stayed for six days and it still felt too short. We will be back!

Our stay in Sulmona was absolutely wonderful. From the very beginning, the host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It was a rainy day when we arrived, and they kindly came to pick us up from the free parking area, which is only about a 5–7 minute walk away, such a thoughtful and appreciated gesture.
The house itself exceeded all our expectations. It was even more beautiful than in the photos: cozy, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a perfect stay. Every detail was taken care of, making it feel like a true home away from home.
The location is also ideal, with a supermarket nearby, plenty of restaurants, and easy access to everything in Sulmona.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!
