Clean, reasonably well equipped, and convenient for visiting family in Bicester.

There's an unpleasant surprise after you've placed the booking (and are committed because there is no cancellation refund): a multi-page damage contract to sign and a requirement to either purchase their damage insurance or block out a very large sum on your credit card. The contract actually advises taking photos of the property similar to a car rental - really? A whole house? None of this is mentioned on the booking.com page. The obvious distrust of renters that the owners have and the hold that the damage contract places over the renter by giving the owner the right to seek damages for any tiny wear or tear takes the edge of the booking - you just can't relax. I've never seen this before. Also the back garden paving was riddled with large weeds so not an attractive place to sit in.
