Our family and dog stayed for 4 days/3 nights…we loved that we were a ~10 min walk from the beach but in a quiet area surrounded by farm and gardens. Regular visitors to El Palmar warned us it could get loud with nightlife — but not here thankfully. The home is simple and very comfortable, and we had everything we needed to prepare food. Manuel was incredibly kind to my family and shared tomatoes and eggs with us from his garden. The kids really enjoyed connecting with nature this way.
Like much of the town, the water isn’t potable. The only thing we recommend is sharing that ahead of time so that we can arrive prepared with a large bottle of water. It was a quick trip to get some after checking in, but I imagine it’d be a bigger hassle on Sundays with stores closed.
