The apartment itself was as described. The host left some juice and tea and coffee bags in the apartment, a nice touch. I was there for a scientific conference at Badr University and the location was very convenient for this.
While the property looked as described, there were several issues. The listing includes a free airport shuttle and a safe in the amenities, neither were provided. There were no towels provided, when I inquired I was sent a voicemail about how I should be responsible and bring my own towels. The electricity in the apartment is prepaid, the owner asked me to charge the account so I don't get into a blackout. When I objected, I was again lectured at. I never charged the account and the power was never disconnected.
