Barcelona Retreat for 3 Near Park Güell

The place itself was good and comfortable for three people, really great location, and our host, Jose was really welcoming and gave us tips for our trip.

The two bad things that are worth mentioning is that the cutlery and the in the kitchen was really dirty, the plates and glasses weren't the cleanest either, we had to wash everything to actually use them. The other thing is that the water in the shower went down so slowly that we could shower comfortably, hopefully they can fix it in the future.

Appartamento grande, con tutti i servizi necessari. Soggiorno, bagno con una doccia grade e perfetta, anche la cucina con tutto il necessario tra cui microonde e pentole perfettamente pulite. La posizione era perfetta a pochi passi sia dalla metro che dalla fermata bus. Zona tranquilla e poco turistica, quindi perfetta.

Ciò che non mi è piaciuto sono le pareti sottili dell appartamento, in una stanza era impossibile non sentire i rumori dei vicini e il pianto del bambino.

Tenía una ubicación excelente el barrio es relativamente tranquilo pero el edificio sí es muy antiguo. Se oyen muchos ruidos de los vecinos tanto del propio edificio como de los colindantes.

No me gustó la entrada al edificio, las escaleras, sin ascensor,la fachada que era como si fuera un edificio derruido nos asustó un poco al principio y el vecino con un niño que no callaba y que se oían pasos gritos golpes.

We like the ceiling and 20 min walk to Sagrada. But incredible unconveniance is the check in process with “lock box” located in other place, 20 min from the Appartment. With suitcases and kid it's simply a half day logistic to get into Appartment. You need to change it. It's not user friendly.

First of all its important to say that “lock box” is not located in the same building as Appartment. You need to chase it at other place, 20 min from the Appartment. Secondly, the day before the trip a contact person is writing you to pay the tourism tax and check-in fee! (25-70 euros) depending on the time of your arrival. Even I have provided my email for paying tourist tax, the payment link was sent to me with delay in 24 hours, what made me super nervous and unsure how to check in. Third: there was not enough shampoo and gel for 3 people for 6 days. In other Appartments such essentials and salt and pepper for example are always a must. I don't understand how Appartment can not have salt, pepper and soap. Forth: the shower cover was with mold! And it was simply unsafe to wash there the kid. Shower was leaking through the hole, so the floor is always wet… Please see the photo.
