Quintessential Town House Close to Central London

Lovely townhouse. Across the road and 100 m up from a small supermarket, a pharmacy, a small Lebanese restaurant, a social enterprise grocery store and across from them a pizza chain takeaway. Short walk to a lovely park for a walk. 5-6 minutes to Camberwell Green with all that it brings - almost a village feel to it. 10 minutes walk to Denmark hill rail station and a little further on is Kings college hospital ( where we were visiting!)

Minor gripes. Nothing major. When we reported these minor issues the staff dealt willingly with us and were helpful. Not everything could be sorted in the 3 day period we stayed. I hope they are sorted for the next visitors.

Nice house. Not much around for food unless ordering. Nice and warm

Few things but good in all good

Spacious Victorian cottage with three bedrooms and a large dining room. Stylishly furnished with all the necessary things. The house is not new, but renovated and in good order and if you want to feel the spirit of London, it's a great choice.

The property was tidy and bedrooms and lounge were good. On our visit there was an underground strike but Denmark Hill was nearby and made this in fact travel easier on the Overground rather than the Underground.

The cleanliness and appearance of the bathrooms were not very good with a white film over the tiles and marble basin to the main bathroom. It was as though you had tried to make luxury bathrooms but failed miserably. I realise the film was due maybe because of the water but it looked really grubby. Could have been scum? You would have thought with paying the £150 cleaning costs that this would have been removed. There was a loose tile on the floor and cracked and also the top tile/marble was loose too. Some evidence of mould on some of the silicone where the bath sealed under the bath ledges. The en suite shower had seals hanging off the shower door and was also grubby. Shower head had not been cleaned. A shame as the house was generally good but the bathrooms let this down. I also didn't see the need to send photo ID across of all the occupants stopping in the house in days of scams going on. Also the house is a 4 bedroom house but no bed in the 4th bedroom. There was only 6 people meaning my daughter had to sleep on the sofa. Not moaning but felt disappointed.
