Designer Suite with Skyline views

The apartment looks nice, the building is good, and the parking was convenient. However, my overall experience was disappointing due to several issues.

Although the apartment looks good, it was not properly cleaned. There were stains on the bed sheets, the floor was dusty, and the bathroom was not clean at all. Even the bathroom mirror hadn’t been cleaned, and there was garbage left on the sink. The shower drain was blocked, so the water kept accumulating and flooding the floor every time we used it. The plates in the kitchen were not clean either — some had food residue on them. The balcony was extremely dusty and had boxes and bags that seemed to belong to the owner, so we couldn’t enjoy it. There was no proper sitting area in the balcony. The kitchen was missing basic essentials — no lighter for the stove (I had to buy one), no small tea or coffee set, not even sugar, and there were not enough plates for two people. I informed the host about the cleanliness issues, but she/he did not seem to care. She did not offer to send a cleaner, change the bedsheets, or fix anything. When I mentioned that there was no tea or coffee, she simply replied that it’s not provided. There was absolutely no proactiveness or effort to improve the stay. Another concern is that the apartment we originally booked on Booking.com was not provided, even though it still showed as available. We were told it wasn’t available anymore and were given another apartment instead, which feels misleading.
