This was my first time in Dubrovnik and I had no idea where to stay. After reading reviews about other places that required up to 15 minutes of stair climbing, I decided to try my chance at this property. There are some stairs to get to the front door, but it is very manageable.
The location is excellent, only a short walk to the bus stop. Buses seemed to come every five minutes, and within ten minutes, you can be at Pile Gate. It is a great option if you want somewhere quieter than Old Town but still very close. Shops are also just a short walk away. I thought the walk into town would be long, but I walked home one day and it took around 20 minutes, so it's definitely doable to walk to Pile Gate. However, I found the buses way more convenient.
The apartment feels brand new, modern, and immaculate. It has a full kitchen, though I never used it. I just loved having this roomy place to myself, which meant I was fully rested for exploring. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the air conditioning cooled the place down quickly. I also really appreciated the washing machine in the bathroom, which meant I had fresh clothes after walking in the heat.
Dijana, the host, was friendly and welcoming. She made sure I got in easily and gave me a recommendation for Vila Čingrija which is only a 7-minute walk away - a stunning spot to sit and have coffee and cake. I also highly recommend the street food burger place at the end of the street.
I had the most amazing time, and when I come back to Dubrovnik, I will definitely stay here again. It was absolutely perfect.

New apartment with all needed facilities, we were super grateful for all the extras like coffee, olive, toast bread, even some extra beach towel. Easy to access, nice contact, also lovely view on both sides. We though we will use buses a lot but it was only 20min to old town, 15min to harbour. Really recommend it for anyone who wants a nice place in a central spot.
