We had a lovely stay at Swan Lake Glamping. The accommodation was very clean and well-maintained. The location is surrounded by nature, making it the perfect place to disconnect from everyday life and enjoy some peace and quiet.
The host was very welcoming and kindly provided us with logs and coal for both heating and the barbecue, which was a thoughtful touch and made the stay even more enjoyable.
There are a few nice restaurants within a 10-minute drive, so finding good food nearby was easy. The signposts leading to the property were also very clear, making it simple to locate even on our first visit.
Overall, a peaceful and relaxing getaway that we would happily recommend to anyone looking for a nature escape in Cavan.
A couple of small improvements would make the stay even better. Shower essentials such as body wash and shampoo were not provided, which would have been a nice convenience for guests.
The outdoor lights around the pod also stayed on throughout the night and could not be switched off. While this may be useful for visibility, it made the pod quite bright at night and affected sleep. Having the option to turn them off or dim them would be appreciated.

Geraldine and Gavin were fantastic hosts. The property was easy to access and offered a wonderfully relaxing environment. The pod itself was spacious, spotless, warm and cosy, with stunning views that made it feel like a true hidden haven. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some peace and quiet. Highly recommended.
This is a very minor point and perhaps us being a little picky, but there was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom tap whenever the water was running, so we chose not to use it.
As a suggestion, I think access to a boat on the lake would really elevate the experience and help set the pod apart from other glamping stays. The setting is beautiful, and being able to get out on the water would be a fantastic addition.

The location was very good, the pods are a few meters away from a beautiful lake !
