Great location, great host

Cabin was amazing with beautiful views of the mountain and town. Conveniently located near anything you could need, and within walking distance. The interior was arranged well with tasteful decor and plenty for everyone to do. It was well stocked with basic essentials. The hot tub, sauna, pool table and arcade game were really cool, keeps everyone entertained. There are several TVs to use as well. Cell service was great. Beds were comfy and rooms were accommodating. Bathrooms come stocked with towels and toilet paper as well as basic shampoo, conditioner and body wash. I would recommend bringing your own though (it's not herbal essence by any means).

The driveway requires nerves of steel and a rope to repel. You will have to floor your vehicle to reach the top. Once you're committed, you're committed. & make sure your brakes are good for coming down, you'll be riding them hard! There is a bear, he will destroy the trash bins. Properly secure the bin doors, latches are not enough. I recommend a wire hanger or zip ties. I'll attach a photo for proof. A few notable issues- there is a sizeable water stain on the kitchen ceiling from a previous leak, not the prettiest. There is a bit of damaged LVP flooring in the kitchen near coffee stand. The kitchen faucet knobs are stripped (continuously turns), kitchenware is sparse, as are cleaning supplies. The primary bathroom has a clog in the tub (you'll be standing in ankle deep water by the time you're done showering). The 4th step from the bottom coming from kitchen is broken, it will pinch your foot! & the termite and bee damage on the porch areas are noticeable. The dryer doesn't dry properly and the home has not been deep cleaned in awhile (you'll pay a cleaning fee anyway)

Nice cabin & layout. Lots of amenities and decks. We only stayed to use the bathroom and then left because the town was closing for a winter storm. But for the few minutes we were there it looked good. Close to town but wouldn't suggest walking unless you can handle the serious incline of the driveway. The cabin overall looked great, my lower rating was due to the lack of communication from the property owners.

The drive is a very steep hill, would recommend 4 wheel drive as we were slipping on the way up. We received no communication back from the property owners when we contacted them to notify we were not staying other than constant automated emails on how was our stay. It was dissapointing we couldn't stay but glad we left when an officer in town stopped us and suggested leaving before the storm hit because we would have never been able to get down the driveway until the snow/ice melted and been stuck with no provisions as nothing was open in a 10 mile radius.
