Old Gate Baku Old City 2-RooM

I, my wife, and my kid (2 years) stayed. Honestly, it feels like a second home in Baku. The parents of the host make my sons feel like grandparents' special hearts for them <3 The entire ground-floor apartment is ours, including a room with a double bed, a TV area with a dining table, and a washing machine.

The history, fantastic atmosphere and convenient location close to several good coffee shops and restaurants, tourist excursions and even a Bank ATM machine and once I found my bearings it was only a 5 minute walk through the maze of old buildings to the Underground Metro station.

Initially getting constantly hassled by how can I put it, purveyors of shall we say the more tackier looking souvenir stalls, I think it took around 3 days for their enthusiasm towards me (but in good humour) to wane somewhat.
