The stay at Monte Longu was one of the very best I ever had on Booking.com. It is a spacious high ceiling apartment in a very historic part of Sassari. Sparkling clean, nicely decorated and featuring fully equipped kitchen. Add to all this a big balcony with a panoramic view of the city, and you will understand why I truly liked this place. Yet, very special thanks goes to the host, Fois Antonello, for his unparalleled hospitality: when I arrived, the refrigerator was stocked with various fruits from his garden and a bottle of a local wine. This felt like genuine “welcome to Sardinia!” Big thank for my time at Monte Longu!

Great host. I was late and he was waiting for me. The place was OK for a couple of nights. It was fully equipped and with some food (fresh fruit, biscuits, bread etc) for breakfast and cold water in the fridge. The balcony was great to sip some coffee early in the morning.
Tiny bathroom.
