Location, fire, sauna and views all amazing

For us, this stay was perfect and everything we needed for a relaxed weekend. The house has beautiful view over the sea and the hostess, Monika, was very kind and more than helpful for us. She shared tips about the area, northern lights, the weather and many more to make sure we had a safe and pleasant stay. Perfect stay for a winter weekend in januari! Drive more up north or west to see some beautiful Norwegian nature. We were lucky to see wild rendier, the northern lights and a true snowy winterwonderland, only a 45min drive away from Tromsø! We would definitely be back to this place to see the northern lights again!

Spacious cabins that have a great view and include private a sauna. Abundant wildlife roaming around, managed to see moose, reindeer and seals. The host was in frequent contact which is highly appreciated, was originally worried about driving in icy artic conditions. The roads are well maintained and has other travelers, the host also meets you at the door serving as a safety contact. I highly reccommend staying here for a couple of nights to try see the aurora's (weather dependent) sitting inside your private cabin overlooking the fjord with a fire is as romantic as it gets. Sure beats those bus tours to empty fields looking for the aurora. You'll need to bring your own firewood.
