Beautiful Studio Puerto Morelos

Clean, beautiful, loved both pools and it was quiet inside.

Access was strange, had to go around the port. A long way to walk into town to go for dinner or the beach or whatever you’re up to. Having a bike or car was a necessity.

Located at more then 1 km from restaurants, shops, beach. Nextdoor to container port : when a ship arrived, lots of noise of machines and trucks going on and off, night as well as day

The apartment is modern, clean, and pleasant with a nice-sized balcony. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed using the building's communal hot tub and small pool, and the view from the rooftop is spectacular. The kitchen is adequate for a short stay, but it has no oven and is very small, so it's not good for preparing full meals. When we arrived on Friday the boiler wasn't working so we had no hot water to take a shower and the management company didn't respond until Monday. Even then it was hard to get someone to fix it, and once the fixed it the water was still only lukewarm for the rest of the stay.

The apartment is south on the outskirts of town, about a mile from the center and the beach, so we used a taxi or Uber to go anywhere. You could walk but it's a bit of a hike. The promo suggested it was a lot closer to town. The building is in the middle of a working port, so there is noise all day from the machinery, and the "forest view" balcony overlooks the dockyard. There is an unpleasant smell from the seaweed that accumulates on the beach - the seaweed is everywhere on this part of the coast. The did work to remove the seaweed, but it is hard for them to keep up with it.
