Das Ferienhaus liegt direkt an einem kleinen See, man kann von dort lospaddeln in alle Richtungen, oder auf der Terrasse, dem Bootsteg oder auch im Haus den Sonnenuntergang geniessen. Für die Erkundung des Algonquin National Parcs liegt das Haus optimal. Abends kann man entweder draußen auf der Terrasse oder im Haus im Ofen Feuer machen und den Tag gemütlich enden lassen. Das Haus ist klein, aber sehr gemütlich und gut ausgestattet. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder.
Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich. Unser Wunsch zur Optimierung wäre: die Beleuchtung in der Küche und im Wohnraum ist sehr hell und hat ein kaltes Licht. Eine gesonderte Beleuchtung des Tresens (zwischen Küche und Wohnraum) oder auch eine Stehleuchte im Wohnraum (oder ähnliches) mit warmen Licht (max. 2700 Kelvin) wäre wünschenswert. Wir haben eine Nachttischleuchte in das Wohnzimmer gestellt, auch das war ok.
